Hey everyone!

We are rocking this Kickstarter! And we are excited to show you some stuff from last week that you may have missed :)

We hit 12k Backers! Unlocking a unique KS only dye set for all backers! And we will be releasing new Backer goals for these final 11 days tomorrow.

On our Friday stream we released the demon skin in the Leader of Men package!

 Both the Demon and Angel skins are racial skins, and not costumes.  This means that armor and character customization (including skin color) is possible on these :)

If you missed our Friday Live Stream, we showed some Pre-Alpha gameplay.  You can watch a recording of this QnA here!  The gameplay starts at 29:04 if you don't want to hear our beautiful voices first :)

$2,000,000 Raised in 2 Weeks!! New Stretch Goals Revealed!

Congraaaaaaaaaaaaaats!!!!

At this moment in time, Ashes of Creation has officially reached over $2 million with over 11k Backers and 16 days still remaining!!

We cannot express just how grateful everyone at Intrepid Studios is for the outpouring of support and excitement.  We are absolutely dedicated to creating the most amazing MMORPG you can possibly experience!

With the 11k Backer Goal achieved, every backer will now receive an exclusive Kickstarter mount, the Tidesnapper!

With the $2million stretch goal unlocked, Social organizations are now a part of the game!  This includes deep story driven organizations that players can advance in, and help to spread across the nodes in the game.  Accomplishing goals and server driven questlines relating to these organizations. A more in-depth blog on each of the organizations will be released during development.

You will see 2 new additions to the stretch goal and backer goal list.

Kickstarter exclusive mount barding - This exclusive Kickstarter armor skin can be used by any mount, and will stand-out as an amazing piece of armor with bright emissives and rich textures!

Stock Exchange - This is a very in-depth system that relates to how Nodes, Player Guilds and Social Organizations perform in the world.  This will allow players to invest those communities through the form of a stock exchange that will measure certain metrics to determine success or failure around the world. If a guild fails in a raid, shareholders in that guild may see a drop in it's value.  Or if a node advances in activities and trade routes leading to it, the shareholders may see a spike in their dividends.  Social organizations such as the Thieves Guild may see community quest points achieved throughout the world and different chapters being built in nodes across the realm, resulting in a higher valuation.

The Stock Exchange System will bring a whole new world to how players can participate in the economy.

$1,750,000 Stretch Goal Unlocked! With over 10K backers...

My fellow Ashes of Creation lovers,

We have unlocked the Underrealm territories!!!

The team is ecstatic! We have sooo many cool ideas that we are getting to work on with this vast underground area.

The Underrealm will be a rich environment where bioluminescence abounds in the fauna and flora that exist here.  These deep caverns and underground valleys will provide new destinations for civilization to develop.  Bringing the node system into the depths of the world, may awaken darker creatures than the surface. Be careful...

But enough about deep darkness! Let's talk about the light!

Today we debut one of the unique racial skins from our $1k package.

Once you step foot into this world, it will be known that you have been destined to serve as an agent of the light. This racial skin will transform your appearance into that of a herald of the Gods.

The demonic racial skin will be released next week :)

Glorious Ashes Community!

We have passed the 9,500 Backer Goal and are moving swiftly to the Underrealm Stretch Goal!

The unique armor set granted to every backer, will never be available again to players who did not participate in the Kickstarter.  You may wear this armor skin as a badge of honor, standing apart from other players in the game and showing that you were here at the beginning of this journey.  You helped breathe life into an MMORPG that will change the face of the genre forever. <3 And we are grateful for that.

The next backer goal, at 11k backers, is an underwater mount named the Tidesnapper! This turtle looking creature will glide through the water and take you to sights beyond your imagination.  

We cannot express to you all, the excitement and gratitude everyone at Intrepid Studios is feeling and we are committed to bringing you the best MMORPG possible!

We Just Broke $1,500,000!! New Backer/Stretch Goals!

Everyone in our community continues to humble the team here at Intrepid Studios with the support that Ashes has been shown!!

We have unlocked the Enhanced Naval Content Stretch Goal!!!

Everyone here is SO EXCITED about the additional ships and water content that we will be creating.  Sea based trade routes, combat ships, treasure hunting, underwater dungeons and mounts! A whole new sea of content :)

With that latest unlock, we have added a couple more goals to reach!! And we know we can count on everyone to help spread the word about Ashes, so we can get this content unlocked!

All backer goals that get unlocked are given to all backers of the project, and we want to make sure you guys are aware that none of the goals on our stretch goals will result in scope creep.  We have carefully planned out all of the work necessary to achieve these goals.  Which is why they are at the values they are at. We will not delay the release of the game in any way because of these goals!

The Social Organizations Stretch Goal includes new progression paths for individual players to participate in.  A social structure associated with different types of organizations that relate to unlocking certain mechanics for your role as a citizen in specific nodes, and even the world. It's exciting new quest lines and social hierarchy that we think will bring a fun dynamic to your storyline and gameplay.

I am sure you saw the new race on that chart.  If we can achieve that funding goal, we have planned a new player race.  The Underrealm player race were left behind on this world, when all other races fled.  They have existed in the depths, finding safety in the darkness.  

It is a big addition, but one we have been planning for... And we. are. excited!
